The new rendering looks great. My only comment is that the 2 variations to move 17. could somehow be better distinguished from another. I find ChessBase's A. B. C. 1. 2. 3. a little heavy-handed, but could imagine a minimal visual cue to help here. See linked image. http://open-chess.org/variations....

Re: Houdini and HCE
With the recent announcement of Houdini available for ChessBase, are we going to be able to use Houdini with HCE? I like comparing evals, it teaches me not to follow blindly program suggestions, since right in front of me I see they differ. It's nice to have things on the Mac and not bother with wi...

Hello, Can we remove the side to move icon (white or black)? It will save us some real estate. And I'd love to be able to rename the engine name in the engine list Thanks I agree, remove it, make it narrower, or move it somewhere like the toolbar where it won't take up room. Please don't remove it....

Back to the command line :-) Thanks for pointing me to this tool. Did you manage to run this in OSX Mountain Lion? I'm going through my 'most used ChessBase features' to see if I can skip MS Windows . Yes, it works great on 10.8.1. I think I won't be abandoning CB products in the short term (but fo...

After reading through the manual, I can't find if i's possible to identifiy identical games from a database and decide which game to remove. I'm collecting games from various sources, so sometimes games show up more than once. Regards, Ton You can use the complex but powerful pgn-extract ( http://w...

I am currently on the move so I only have a pc netbook, I think on the Mac the shift+tab and ctrl+tab moves focus between buttons. My memory could be wrong as using the keyboard to press buttons is not something I do very often. When you're back on the Mac, please try it; it doesn't work for me. It...

FR: commenting windows + keyboard in dialog
Me again. Just a little feature request for a difference in the title bar between the 'start comment' and the 'comment' dialog boxes, so's I know if I accidentally opened the wrong one. edit: in fact, the whole comment situation is a tiny bit strange. So I can only create a start comment if my 'curs...

Yes it would be a possibility to highlight the current game after the filter is reset, we will look at it. One important point many people may have missed is that there is a history of games visited stored for each database used and you can access that list from the Recent Games icon (on the right ...
