Hi guys, I was basing my model number off the box. If you look on the right hand side it is written in red Model 6094.
I will do some checks soon and hopefully it is as it should be

I tried batteries today and it works!
It should be mach iii as the box suggests so, here is someone elses picture of the same box

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately it does not work with an AC adapter. I will try with batteries tomorrow. If it still does not work, I will get a professional to fix it. Perhaps a dead capacitor? Is there a wiring diagram/schematics available?

Hello, I bought a Fidelity Electronics Chess Set today. It is boxed and branded as Excel 68000 Mach III (Model 6094) Could somebody give me some information on this model as I believe it to be quite valuable. eBay sold listings show one sold for £150 and a motherboard upgrade for £190!
