Re: Version 1.3
Thank you very much for this new version. Searching in variations allows me now to look for any particular game position in my repertoire files. This is great!

Re: Version 1.3
I still think the DGT boards are the good direction to look at. i still think its a pitty that they dont want to support macos - and therefore its the wrong direction as it excludes many users and i like Hiarcs approach to dont divide the versions for different platforms. So aren´t boards like Mill...

Re: Possible feature request: search in variations
Do you think the "search in variations" functionality could be included into the HCEPro 1.3? Thank you. I will have a look. The biggest problem is that the search now blocks the GUI, as it is normally very fast, so we would either need to block variation search for large databases (simple...

Re: Possible feature request: search in variations
Maybe have it as an option in the search mask for people who 'need' to do such a search. However, I wouldn't imagine I'd be searching on this type of thing from a majorly large database.. but I could see using it for searching on my repertoire database which is much, much smaller. Maybe we can add ...

Possible feature request: search in variations
Dear developers, I guess any possibility to search for a particular position in variations could be very useful. At least, sometimes it is necessary to find position from your game in your repertoire database, which normally consist of a lot of variations with comments. At the moment, as far as I ca...

New feature suggestion: More readable time control
Dear development, I'd like to suggest to make a time control in the header more readable. Now we can see a small "300+3" somewhere in the corner. The "Blitz, 5m+3s" with bigger font would be quite more usable, I guess. The time control is a very important game characteristics, so...

Re: Keyboard shortcuts stop working after a while in HCE Pro 1.1.2
Confirmed what bcalmac said: Just hovering over the menu item without actually clicking on it reactivated keyboard shortcuts as well. This must be one of the strangest bugs I've ever encountered. I doubt this is some Qt thing though. Yes, it is strange, but we do not do anything special with shortc...

Re: Keyboard shortcuts stop working after a while in HCE Pro 1.1.2
Same problem here. BTW, HCE 1 also had this issue. A workaround for me always was to restart the program, but I thought this was a well-known problem.

Re: Repertoire management
For me even a possibility to search for a particular position in all variations of the database could help. As far as I can understand, currently HCE Pro can search only along the main variation. This could give a chance to find some position in the repertoire database. Yes, there is no search in v...

Re: Any plans for DGT board support?
I asked for the protocol last year and it dumped in my e-mail 1-2 dayes later (95 pages): Of course I'm ever so slightly biased here, but a better solution for HCE might be to add support for the DGT Rabbit Plugin protocol. Then you'd get support for DGT eBoards (USB/BT), DGT Pegasus (BLE), Millenn...

Re: Feature request: start/stop engine by keyboard shortcut
3. Theoretically it should be possible to use Cmd+1...9 shortcuts to stop 1st, ..., 9th engine but the shortcut is not visible so it is not easy to see which shortcut to use. I think Cmd+1...9 shortcuts should start and stop correspondence engines and Cmd-0 could start/stop all engines in the curre...
