Fidelity impact printer

Hello,

I am looking to buy a Fidelity impact printer.
It's not important if it is fully working or defective.
Looks aren't important either.

Contact: chrimarq(a)googlemail(dot)com

Regards

Hi Ricardo, Hi Alain I did not read your first post, your collection is coming by ship great. I believe they come in a secret basement then. Atlantic ocean regards Ricardo actually, I lent two of them to a very good German friend in case the ship sunk  Playing safe regards, Alain Still there ...

I remember that I had a similar problem with a pressure sensory board from Saitek, a Risc 2500. The solution was: heat! I took a hair dryer (sic!) and heated up the square for 5 minutes. After that the machine worked fine. As the surface is glued to the sensors, the glue probably got hard over the y...

Steve, the answer is clear to me: since it is a blurred picture of the adapter people have got difficulties deciphering the label and therefore they have to look more often just to be sure :D

Probably sounded like this: Quote: Hi, A while ago, you expressed interest in my Fidelity Elite A/S Budapest Chess Computer. I have the description typed up, and if you are interested, I will take some photos of it this weekend and possibly post it for sale on Ebay. I wanted to see if you were inter...

Larry: it took my Elegance 2:56 minutes to solve this mate in 5.
So a little bit more than twice as fast as your Elegance.

Hi Larry,

I am currently "en voyage" but I will enter the position when I am back (which will be in two days).
I will let you know the result.

@Steve: the speedup is not dependent on Elegance A or B because you will get a completely new PCB anyway.

Regards

Hi Christian, Thanks for the link, I'll be looking into it for sure. Are you sure your Elegance is 8mhz, not 6mhz? Hi again, Christian. Just ignore my last post above about the 6mhz being advertised by the company. I did'nt have my reading glasses on. all the best, Larry Hi Larry, your readi...

Hello Steve, For several reasons I am looking forward to my annual trip to Paris. As for playing strength the Elegance in this tuned version should be a little bit stronger than the Mephisto Polgar. So the Brute Force will be well out of reach...we will see. But the point I wanted to make is simply ...

There is good news for the owners of non-working Elegance computers. Mine didn´t work properly so I sent it to UK for repair. It came back to me with a completely new PCB running at 8MHz !!! It plays a hell of a game now, and the new electronics should easily outlast me. I really recommend this upgr...

Hi,

as far as I know the guy who tuned the Avantgardes doesn't do this anymore. Some 20 to 25 machines exist, and that makes them rare.
I do own one of these, and to me it was worth every cent I payed for it.
Fidelity rules forever.

Is this a bug or a feature? I mean, this way one can play the MMV both with or without the opening book.
Was this implemented deliberately this way?

Bewildered regards,

Well as we both know, if I´d play the same tournament again with the same machines the result would be totally different.
I am getting weaker every day.

Statistics regards
