isn't blitz basically the same than using 24-times fewer cores ? I mean, reflection time and used hardware should be equivalent The naming is just in analogy to human chess. Wouldn't it be better to play many Blitz-games in the available time than just 10 normal games ? So to reduce the random/luck ...

maybe this is a more general phnomenon, not limited to closed positions, just positions with many good moves. I observed it in a few non-closed positions too.
