isn't blitz basically the same than using 24-times fewer cores ? I mean, reflection time and used hardware should be equivalent The naming is just in analogy to human chess. Wouldn't it be better to play many Blitz-games in the available time than just 10 normal games ? So to reduce the random/luck ...

2d-ones thant can be moved with a mouse or touchpad

maybe this is a more general phnomenon, not limited to closed positions, just positions with many good moves. I observed it in a few non-closed positions too. This is probably already well known, but noone bothers to tell it ... There could be a name for it ... increased-depth-analysis-computer-ches...
