Three or four years ago when I exchanged a few emails with Steve UK, he was suffering from arthritis and mentioned that he may stop making chess computers, creating upgraded boards and doing repairs. However, he sold a few more units, such as V11s and modified ESB boards, after that series of emails...

Yes, this sale is rather suspicious. If the R30 and board are working it will sell for a lot more than a 1,000 euros. Why would the seller not show a picture of it turned on and displaying the version info?
