You can setup a "dark mode" for Hiarcs on PC by changing your Windows theme to a high contrast one such as Night Sky. Settings -> Personalization - > Themes - > Contrast themes (on Windows 11). Hiarcs will need to be restarted and in Hiarcs notation settings you need to 'reset colors' so ...

I might be going crazy here. The issue with deep hiarcs seems to be solved suddenly. I have had these issues for a couple of days and now it keeps working. Perhaps tomorrow not but for now it works. NO IT QUITS again 5 miuntes later. Lines are gone. Shutting the engine off and on again doesn't work....

Stockfish doesn't read the nalimov tablebases. So that might explain something. Another isue is that Houdini 3a is only showing 1 line wether i want 1, 4 or 8 it is only showing 1 line. When i replay a normal game it is showing all lines i want wether it be 1, 2, 4 or 8. But not with 5 pieces on the...

I have 5 and half men Nalimov tablebase wich is almost 39 GB. When i am in a 5 piece endgame and i am reviewing the game the engine isn't running because it is showing the lines of the tablebases. I own Fritz13 and ChessBase12 for some years now obviously. And what i missed in those products was a highlighted last move when going through games and a better sparring partner when playing against the computer. I have tried Scid vs Pc and Arena. The first i just didn't understand after a few days...

Is it possible to adjourn a game you want to finnish another day and close the program and shut down the computer without the need to resign the game? And save the clock standings etc.?
