It's such a shame. I so wanted it to be genuine, but simply can't ignore the various suspicious and/or fake elements shown here and elsewhere. Regium are clearly aware of this too. It would be so easy for Regium to quash all of these doubts and concerns - if they were to give a quick, independently ...

They have issued a new video to answer a few questions - The board doesn't seem to mind how you move your piece and the banging down isn't a factor, all of which seems good news. They say the hardware is pretty much done and the remaining effort is sof...

I think it looks impressive. Auto moving boards are a great novelty, but normally this wears off pretty quickly due to either the noise, general slowness of moving, or the necessary, but silly, piece design (too lightweight and thin). This board looks to have none of those issues. The only negative ...

Thanks.

Ahh - that explains it - Android only as is Beta. I guess Apple doesn't allow beta versions on the app store. Looks like us IOS owners will have to wait longer...

I ordered this morning, and their project has now met the goal it seems... roll on April!

Hans - were you talking about new updates for the RevII or the module Steve mentions? I took a quick look at schachcomputer.info, but couldn't spot anything for the RevII, but my German is even worse than google's auto-translate, so could easily have missed it.

All IMHO - They are both completely head and shoulders over all other dedicated computers due to their design and method of use. The piece recognition (with no reed switches) is so natural, the four leds per square and large display made playing with each absolutely luxurious. To own or use either i...

It is in the Updates section at the bottom of the Download page.

But, it does say it is still in Beta, so I'm waiting until it becomes final before I give it a go.

I've not tried this, but my computer is a simple Mac Mini - can anyone let me know what software on the mac side I'd need to try it out?

Thanks.

Looks like its a dealer selling a new one rather than a private seller. Still totally loving mine - got it setup near the kitchen - every time I boil the kettle to make tea, I bang out a quick blitz against one of the emulations - in the few weeks I've owned it, I've probably played more games with ...

Yes, I submitted everything to the site and got a 'we will verify everything' type reply. Then next day all confirmed as ok. Logged in with it later but couldn't see much difference though. Anyway, still loving the revII. Gradually working through all the emulations - really hoping Ruud can add more...

Its the sensor version/firmware for the pieces. Ruud has put in a handy utility to tune the board if the piece recognition isn't working properly.
