(moneyed to a degree) I make enough money to live comfortably, but not rich by any means. (high IQ at about 130 or more) Was tested w...

I have a DGT Bluetooth board, royal pieces, XL clock and the carrying case. I mostly run Picochess with mine. I agree with the statements that having move indicating LEDs would be super nice. Also wish the pieces had move weight to them. One would think I'm constantly resigning as many times as I kn...

Do not be so pessimistic. The last thing you will get anyway, I promise.
Maybe Steve could get his brain transplanted into a chess computer? A Revelation II would be appealing LOL

If I were to go see the movie "Jobs", I should not expect to learn anything about Steve Jobs?

Seems like that would be the major attraction to such a film.

I saw the “Computer Chess” movie this past Saturday. About 10% of the movie had anything to do with computer chess and the rest was about the characters.

You’re not going to learn anything about computer chess and in my opinion it was a complete waste of time and money.

Definitely looking forward to getting the Rikomagic in, so far no shipping notice :(

I'm not a bluetooth expert, but once the link between the board and Rikomagic is setup wouldn't it be just a matter of pointing it to that COM port?

And there I was estimating about $300 for this one. I'm gobsmacked! Picking myself up from the floor regards... Larry Me too! I was the one that put in the $300 and $340 bids. I see that I was no where close to getting this auction. If I had a Fidelity Elite, it'd be on ebay right now! I like those...

Thanks for the games Nick. The first one with the Novag Magic Castle is pretty bad. White tosses pieces and black falls into a draw. Evaluation code as major holes.

Re: Weakest Dedicated Chess Computer

After reading the recent post about the Novag Piccolo being rated in the 900’s. I was wondering what would be the weakest dedicated chess computer made? i guess that would have to be the very first dedicated chess computer ever sold..back in 1977 the Fidelity Chess Challenger ..i think its almost i...
