Re: How do you tell the difference between Turbo King 1 &

Hello Larry, I know the two machines were released two years apart, and there is a not negligible difference in playing strength between them. But they seem to look the same. Is there a different model number on the back, perhaps? If my Turbo King 2 runs on AC and without batteries inserted, every 1...

Re: HIARCS MP on a Dual Core

I have double checked I have downloaded the right MP file (not the SP one) and that the parameters are set for 2 cores but it seems I'm only getting it on one core? If you look at the CPU load (system performance(?))) in task manager it simply should show 100% in both cores with a MP engine... Robert

Oh, by the way: the title in the first auction means translated: "I believe, it is a chess computer" But she connected the adaptor cable and still is not sure, whether it is a computer or not???? This is soooo ridiculous! In my opinion, this is not only a case for the Schachcomputer ...

Hi Steve, If you look at the wood pattern, the TM which is now on ebay looks identical. Coincidence? :?: Or are they all produced from the same wood and hence have the same pattern? Hi Axel i think they are probably not the same exact computers if you look at the first one..there is a small chip in ...

Re: MMC vs citrine

I just unpacked my mephisto master chess. I played a couple of games on the 5 sec. per move level and i could not beat it. Strong machine. I test it then against the citrine in a 6 match game in the same 5 sec avarage time level. The match ended 3 to 3 but then reading the mephisto manual it played...

Re: New Robot with 4K Program??????

It does not sound to me as a capable 1850 Elo program as they say it is.... even if 1850 = capable player. With 4k perhaps you get a good orange crusher.... Dunno understand why they does not put good programs to these toys regards Fernando Maybe that's exactly the reason: Novag sees it as a toy?.....

Sorry, but PC engines/programs do not work on Revelation or Resurrection...

you can see from the solve times i let each engine run for 5 full minutes only Deep Sjeng could find the move in 5 minutes( actually 111 seconds) Interesting, that just the weakest of all Res/Rev engines found it! I wonder, if Deep Sjeng knew, what it was doing?... positive eval? regards, Robert
